Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verifying credentials and reporting any unusual or suspicious activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with company and client protocols.
Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations and lockdowns, in coordination with site management and Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors in a technology-focused environment.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related situations.
