As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience is required.
A valid TSA issued TWIC is required.
A valid armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter within the aerospace and defense location.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
Assist in access control by verifying identification and credentials as required.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited activities through visible presence and patrols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
