As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and guests. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Carry and maintain issued firearm and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site requirements, and Allied Universal policies; perform post checks, weapon status verification, and required documentation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and medical-area support requests, while coordinating with site leadership and public responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, treatment areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify hazards, reduce risk, and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
Control access through designated entrances and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, monitor alarm and camera systems when assigned, and complete detailed incident and shift reports.
