As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or loading areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and other security-related issues, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support loss prevention and incident response efforts by observing customer and employee activity, contacting local law enforcement when needed, and following all Allied Universal and site firearm handling requirements.
