About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrols in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support people on site with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization in accordance with location protocols.
Support Allied Universal and location personnel by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns, and assisting with inquiries as appropriate.
