About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Rover in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting staff, visitors, and patients throughout the location.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify issues needing attention.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while documenting observations and/or reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or interacting respectfully with patients, staff, and visitors during routine and emergency-related situations.
