About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. Requirements

  • Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment for an armed post, follow all licensing and use-of-force requirements, and report any equipment issues through the chain of command.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter zones, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
  • Complete timely written reports and logs, including incident reports, shift activity, and required documentation for access control and key and/or badge accountability.
