About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Maury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public officials as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining alert to unusual activity and policy violations.
Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and help to deter unauthorized activity involving people, vehicles, and property.
Support order at the location by following post orders, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and assisting with controlled movement and incident response procedures.
