About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Lobby Control in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required by state and/or local laws.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted and security-related areas.
Verify identification, access permissions, delivery documentation, and/or vehicle entry information in accordance with location policies and post instructions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gate areas, and perimeter locations, with duties and working conditions varying by site.
