Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious residential location, you will play a key role in monitoring and communicating security-related activities. You will help to deter incidents by coordinating patrols and responding to calls, while delivering exceptional customer service. This is an armed post, where your professionalism and commitment to teamwork and integrity will contribute to a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 2 years of armed law enforcement, or military experience is required.
College degree in criminal justice
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the residential location.
Receive, document, and communicate information regarding incidents, emergencies, and service requests to appropriate personnel.
Maintain clear and accurate records of all calls, incidents, and security-related activity in the dispatch log.
Support responding officers by providing timely and accurate information during critical situations.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Follow site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
