About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Controller in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, radios, and/or incoming calls, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by documenting details, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating security-related support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, incident reports, radio traffic, and shift updates to help support continuity of operations and client reporting needs.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity while supporting site personnel across varying working environments and conditions.
