Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed CRE Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and control entry to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services if needed, following established procedures.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and training requirements.
