As an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, coordinate with site stakeholders, and support orderly access and operations. Requirements

The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
An Armed Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local laws, licensing requirements, and post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities and surrounding perimeter areas, including entrances, corridors, platforms, and parking areas, documenting observations and reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access, coordinating with site leadership and local responders as directed.
Complete security-related reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarm systems when assigned, and communicate clearly with supervisors and public agency personnel to support daily operations.
