As a Security Officer - Armed Community Patrol in South Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a residential location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to utilize your experience while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A current armed guard card or license is required.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
Monitor access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or requests for assistance at all times while on duty.
