As a Security Professional - Armed Site Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will engage with visitors and staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. This armed role involves routine patrols and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where your professionalism, communication, and commitment to our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first will make a real difference every day.

Requirements

Must have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Must possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
