Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance Patrol in Troy, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain awareness of surroundings within an aerospace and defense location, identifying and reporting unusual or suspicious activities.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Document incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site and Allied Universal protocols.
