Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Civic Patrol in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a highly visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service. This armed position is ideal for those who value teamwork, integrity, and making a positive impact within their community in a dynamic and people-first environment.

Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines for armed patrol officers while on duty.
