As a Security Officer - Armed Campus Patrol in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as requested by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry onto the premises.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or students, providing assistance as needed while upholding site-specific protocols.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or other situations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
