As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at an educational location. Requirements

Must have supervisory experience.
Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
Must possess an armed guard card or armed guard license.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise on campus.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor and control access to designated areas, checking identification and/or credentials as required by site policy.
Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions within the location and report findings according to established protocols.
Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns as directed by site management.
Maintain detailed and accurate written reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences.
Interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors, providing assistance or information as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
