As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm, clear communication. This is a driving post that may require moving between areas as needed, and you will carry while on duty. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every interaction.

Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures.
Observe customer areas, teller lines, ATMs, and other high-traffic zones for unusual activity and report concerns through the appropriate channels.
Respond to alarms, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and public emergency services as directed.
Complete routine checks of doors, gates, and controlled areas, and report maintenance issues or suspicious conditions to site contacts.
Operate and/or monitor security-related systems such as cameras, radios, and alarm panels when assigned, documenting notable events.
Write clear, timely incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate updates during shift handoff.
Follow weapons handling, storage, and use-of-force guidelines, maintaining required training, licensing, and qualification standards for the armed post.
