As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service needs with calm, clear communication. You will deliver customer-focused assistance while documenting observations and coordinating with site leaders and first responders as needed. Requirements

Have at least 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and prompt notification to management and/or local authorities as directed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, drive lanes, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate area.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and take appropriate action based on post orders and location procedures.
Complete detailed reports on shift activities, patrol findings, incidents, and/or policy exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location requirements.
Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, training, and post orders, and follow all applicable use of force and reporting guidelines.
Support opening and closing procedures when assigned, including checking doors, gates, restricted areas, and key control measures to help to reduce unauthorized access.
Provide visible presence in customer-facing areas while maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting with directions and general questions as needed.
Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and location management on security-related concerns, special events, and/or changes in site conditions.
