About The Position
As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Baton certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor for and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or customers as needed.
- Follow all company procedures and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Work collaboratively with other security professionals and/or law enforcement personnel when required.
- Document incidents and complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
