Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport i n New Port Richey, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements

At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or unusual situations to appropriate personnel.
Interact with visitors, staff, and/or the public in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related protocols.
Prepare detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or breaches of security-related protocols at the government location.
