Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct armed patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. This is an armed post requiring a high level of professionalism and commitment.

Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, adapting to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.
Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to the appropriate personnel to help to deter unauthorized access or incidents.
Support access control measures, including verifying credentials and managing entry points in accordance with site protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
Complete detailed reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
