About The Position

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access points and manage entry and exit of personnel and vehicles in accordance with location protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all activities, incidents, and dispatch communications as required by the site.
Coordinate communication between on-site personnel and external emergency responders as needed.
Assist in the implementation of security-related measures to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity within the location.
Utilize communication equipment and technology to dispatch security-related personnel and relay important information throughout the location.
Support regular and random patrols by coordinating and dispatching officers to designated areas as needed.
