You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required by the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor and report on any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or policy violations observed during patrols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical incidents at the location.
Maintain thorough and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Adhere to all company and client-specific guidelines regarding the use and handling of firearms while on duty.
Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of security-related situations specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
