You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required by the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor and report on any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or policy violations observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical incidents at the location.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Adhere to all company and client-specific guidelines regarding the use and handling of firearms while on duty.
  • Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of security-related situations specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
