As an Armed Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points at a private club location by checking credentials, coordinating visitor access, and maintaining clear logs and communication. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering customer service with professionalism and respect. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or unarmed guard card.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, guests, vendors, and/or staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue temporary passes as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Monitor cameras and alarm indicators as assigned, document unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the clubhouse, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
