Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility location grounds, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas, verifying access credentials and following site protocols for deliveries, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with supervisors and/or site contacts, completing required reports, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.
