About The Position

As a Security Officer Area Patrol Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A TSA issued TWIC is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and report irregularities, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and emergency personnel as needed.
