As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, support access control and badge activity, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will stay visible throughout the property, respond to requests, and provide customer-focused communication with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct access control activities including verifying credentials, monitoring authorized entry and/or exit points, and documenting arrivals and departures per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the established chain of communication.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, flight line adjacent areas as assigned, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Complete detailed reports, logs, and pass-downs, and operate security-related systems such as radios, phones, cameras, and alarm monitoring tools as required by the post.
