As a Security Officer - Apartment Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and common areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident needs with clear, professional communication. You will document observations, report concerns, and support access control and community rules. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and post orders at a residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with property management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points and community activity, report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues, and complete accurate incident reports and shift logs.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for an unarmed patrol post, including helping with evacuations, providing directions, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions.
