As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and common areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, report issues, and support property staff through teamwork and integrity, backed by a caring culture that values being agile, reliable, and innovative. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, property concerns, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
Monitor entrances and access points while on patrol, verify authorization when needed, and help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns.
Complete timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and maintenance-related issues, and communicate updates to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership as required.
