As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Control access points by checking identification and/or visitor authorization, monitoring vehicle and foot traffic, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and equipment or property concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Complete detailed shift documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and daily logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
