As a Security Officer Ambassador Bike Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas at a prominent municipal location, helping to support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and the community. In this unarmed patrol role, you will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Ability to ride a bike is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at the location, assisting with reporting, documentation, and follow-up related to security-related concerns.
• Support a professional presence at the location by answering questions, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or policy-related issues through proper channels.
