You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, manage access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions, while maintaining a professional presence.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and/or breaches.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual activity as observed during shifts.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site contacts to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets within the financial institution location.
