Job Description As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic environment. Position Type: Part Time - Morning Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including suspicious activities, property damage, or hazards within the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required by site protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of all patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing directions and answering questions related to site-specific policies and procedures.
Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines to help to maintain a secure environment at the location.
