Job Description As a Airport Security Officer - Curbside Patrol in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Thur 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders, access control procedures, and site-specific policies at a government location, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, queue control, and coordination with local authorities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, documenting observations and communicating updates to supervisors and/or designated points of contact.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs, and support screening checkpoints and restricted area entry procedures when assigned.
