Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public agencies as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones, noting irregular activity and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Control access to restricted or authorized-only areas by checking identification, monitoring doors and gates, and maintaining visitor and/or vendor logs as required by site policy.
• Complete routine security-related documentation, including patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and promptly communicate relevant information to the next shift.
