As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting access control and guest flow. Requirements

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Guard Card/License is preferred.
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, crew members, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, hangars, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
Document observations and incidents in written reports, complete patrol logs, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
