As a Security Officer Airport Foot Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors in accordance with location protocols.
• Support operations at a government transportation location by observing surroundings, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and assisting with directions or general information when appropriate.
