Security Officer Afternoon Patrol

As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support daily operations by screening personnel and/or visitors, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures, helping to identify unauthorized or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, review shipping and receiving activity, and document screening-related observations, incidents, and/or policy exceptions according to site requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with work environments and conditions varying by location.
