About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Unarmed Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote order.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities within the aerospace and defense location.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Document incidents and maintain detailed logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to access control and emergency preparedness.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required by the situation.
