Security Officer - Aerospace Facility Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Aerospace Facility Patrol in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct regular patrols and provide exceptional customer service, supporting a secure environment through strong communication and teamwork. Requirements
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the premises, especially in sensitive areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and guidance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
- Follow all instructions and protocols provided by Allied Universal and the client site, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as necessary.
