As a Security Officer - Aerospace Facility Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a leading aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and be a resource for those onsite, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or unusual circumstances to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policy.
Support emergency preparedness by participating in drills and following established response protocols specific to the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, daily activities, and relevant observations.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and address inquiries as needed.
