About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Access Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated aerospace and defense locations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access procedures and site-specific protocols.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site policies, including the use of electronic access control systems and visitor management processes.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for aerospace and defense environments.
Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations in a timely and accurate manner to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
