About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout an aerospace and defense location. You will remain visible to provide exceptional customer service, respond to incidents, and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to address security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site policies.
Support access control measures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance in accordance with site-specific procedures.
