As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Specialist in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for potential issues.
- Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential threats or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
- Work closely with site personnel and/or visitors to provide assistance and maintain a secure environment.
- Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing conditions and client needs as required.
