Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will complete routine unarmed patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to cover larger areas and respond to calls for service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security experience is required.
An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and unauthorized activity, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and lab areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Control access at designated entry points by monitoring credentials, checking visitor authorization, verifying deliveries, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other systems as assigned, and document observations and conditions that may require follow-up.
Complete routine reports, patrol logs, incident reports, and/or access logs with accurate, timely information according to site requirements.
Support security-related procedures for restricted areas, including checking that doors, gates, and sensitive areas are secured and reporting maintenance or policy issues through the proper channels.
Coordinate with location management, Allied Universal leadership, and local emergency responders when required, following established notification and escalation procedures.
Provide guidance to personnel and visitors regarding site rules, prohibited items, and restricted areas, and report noncompliance through the proper channels.
Assist with traffic and parking control during shift changes, deliveries, and special activities to maintain orderly movement on site.
