About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Driver in East Saint Louis, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving position, requiring you to navigate the premises and remain highly visible to support a secure environment. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or issues observed during patrols.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed, including assisting with drills or evacuations at the location.
