About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Entry Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing support to employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
One or more of the following: at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and provide guidance regarding site access and procedures as needed.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address and resolve security-related matters specific to the aerospace and defense environment.
